Healthy Eating
Healthy eating is about having a balance of different foods and nutrients in the diet for good health and wellbeing. It is not about ‘dieting’. It doesn’t have to be boring or difficult. Healthy eating is about enjoying your food, at the same time as being mindful about what you eat.
This link provides information about different types of food, how much of what we eat overall and what should come from each food group to achieve a healthy, balanced diet. You do not need to achieve this balance with every meal, but try to get the balance right over a day or even a week.
